At Ubicu we value and respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share and protect the personal data of those who use our website and our mobile application (together, the “Platform”). Data is processed in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and other applicable regulations in Colombia.

Data we collect

Identification and account data

Name, email address, login credentials and other information you provide when creating or managing your account.

Health and therapy performance data

Ubicu is a support product for incentive respiratory therapy. The app may record data related to your performance in the breathing exercises, such as inhaled and exhaled volumes, the results of each session and your treatment progress. This data is considered sensitive data and receives a reinforced level of protection. It is processed only with your prior, express and informed authorization, for the purpose of providing the rehabilitation service and allowing follow-up by your treating professional.

Contact data

When you fill out the contact form, you provide us with your name, your email address and the message you wish to send us.

Technical and device data

For security, analytics and continuous service improvement purposes, this Platform may collect technical information associated with the device used to access it, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, regional settings, date and time of access, pages visited and cookies.

This information will be treated under reasonable security measures and solely for the purposes described in this policy.

Purposes of processing

We will handle your request within the timeframes provided by law and will delete or anonymize the information, except for that which we must retain due to a legal obligation.

Children’s privacy

The Platform is not directed to minors without the involvement of their legal guardian. When processing involves the data of children or adolescents, it will be carried out under the responsibility and authorization of their parents or legal guardians and/or the treating health professional, always in the best interests of the minor.
